How do I play Castle Boom?

Touch the battlefield anywhere, pull back like a slingshot and let go. The shot flies opposite to your drag, and the length of the drag sets the power. Send the salvo through the gates floating in the gap to multiply it, then watch it bring the enemy castle down.

How do the gates work?

×2, ×3, ×5, ×10 and the small golden ×50 clone every missile that flies through them, so three rockets can become hundreds. +5 adds missiles, while −5 and ÷2 eat them. Gates bob, slide and orbit while you aim, so timing your release beats raw power. The Gate Freeze perk stops them for a turn.

How do I earn three stars?

Each level gives a star for winning, one for winning within the level's par turns, and one for winning while taking 30% damage or less.

What weapons and perks are there?

Rockets (unlimited bursts of 3 to 5), the Cluster Bomb, which splits into bomblets at the top of its arc, the Heavy Mortar for huge craters, and the Laser, a straight beam that pierces terrain and ignores the gates. Each weapon has five levels. Perks are Shield, Gate Freeze, Double Fire, Repair and Sniper Sight: pack up to three in your loadout and use one per turn.

Can I play against other people?

Yes. PvP opens after campaign level 1-3. Ranked Duels are online and turn-based, with ranks from Bronze to Grandmaster and 28-day seasons. Blitz has both players aiming in the same 12-second window. Practice against the AI or play Pass & Play with a friend on one device, both offline. If no opponent turns up within about 12 seconds, you play an AI rival clearly labelled AI.

Is Castle Boom free? Is it pay-to-win?

It's free to play and never pay-to-win: there are no coin packs and no loot boxes, and coins and blueprints are earned by playing. Ads only appear between campaign levels, never in PvP and never before you've cleared six levels. One purchase, Remove Ads, turns them off for good. The optional Premium Pass adds castle skins, emblems, rare blueprints and double coins to every Season Pass.

Do I need an account? Can I play offline?

Accepted Answer

No account is needed. The campaign, Practice and Pass & Play work offline, and your progress is saved on your device. Only Ranked Duels, Blitz and the leaderboard need a connection; they use a random player ID and the nickname you choose.

How do I restore my purchases?

Accepted Answer

Tap Restore Purchases in Shop › Offers or in Settings, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Remove Ads and the Premium Pass come back on any device.
